Generously Sponsored by The Rojhani Family

Say goodbye to Summer with our annual Shabbat in the Park!

Enjoy a tot shabbat in the park followed by delicious Shabbat dinner. For families with children 0-5. Location provided after registration.

Families with children 6-15 can enjoy a family color war followed by Shabbat dinner all together.

Click here to register for that. If you have multiple children in different age groups you can register one parent or guardian with the younger kids here and the other group there. Dinner will all be together but please only register each person one time so we have an accurate headcount.

FAQs:

Q: Can we participate if we have children in both age groups?
A: Absolutely! If you have children in both age groups, one parent or guardian can attend the Family Color War with the older kids, while the other joins the Tot Shabbat with the younger ones. You’ll all reunite for dinner at 6:30pm.

Q: What time do the events start?
A: The Family Color War starts with an opening ceremony at 5:00pm. Activities for both events begin promptly at 5:30 pm. If you have children in different age groups, you can arrive at 5:00 pm and everyone can join the Opening Ceremony or the younger children can play at the playground before the Tot Shabbat begins.

Q: Where are the events taking place?
A: For security, the exact location near the Tech Center will be provided after you register for the event.

Q: Do I need to register for both events separately if my family is participating in both?
A: Yes, please register each family member for the appropriate event to ensure we have an accurate headcount. However, make sure each person is only registered once.

Q: What if we can only attend the Shabbat dinner?
A: You’re welcome to join us just for dinner at 6:30pm, but please make sure to RSVP here and select ‘Non Participating’ tickets so we can prepare accordingly.

Q: Is there a cost to attend?
A: Like most JOI programs, there is no cost to attend but donations are greatly appreciated. When you register you can select ‘Add a donation for JOI’ on the first screen to make that donation. This equitable ticket system for this event is made possible by the generosity of The Rojhani Family.

Q: When do we need to register?

A: In order for us to set up the teams properly, registration for Color War closes this Wednesday, September 4. Registration for the Tot Shabbat and dinner will close on Thursday, September 5.
